Listening to Your Peers and Subordinates
There's a good example in our book of a man who took over being the executive vice president of a very large global organization. He went to visit each of them and spent, i think, he said, a whole week getting to know the management of that particular unit. The ability to listen when your peers or subordinates are talking to you is probably one of the most important ways you os to let them know that you're really hearing them.
