The Bachelor and the Joe Millionaire
The show Joe Millionaire was effectively a bachelor parody, but with a twist. The women on the program competing for his attention were told he was worth up to $50 million when Evan Marriott actually made only $19,000 a year working in construction. In this case, Bachelor James had no idea who was straight and who wasn't. It just feels extremely gross and wrong to see straight men playing these caricatures of what they think gay men are.
