The Federalist and the Constitution
We have a functioning politics and have for a very long time. So you're not going to get very far in a court that's ordained under the Constitution saying that the Constitution is not relevant. But when we look at the Federalist, this series of newspaper articles, there's barely any mention of party at all. The word is used in ways that we wouldn't really use it. You can safely say that party is not anticipated by the Constitution.
