How Do You Approach Songwriting?
I think a big part of it is like not being too precious with what you're working on. I generally try to put out an album every year or two just to sort of say, hey, here's where I'm at musically and the things that I've been thinking about. But then my question to you would be what is perfect? Like, I'm going to step back a bit. For me personally, and this is just me, I view my releases generally as sort of almost like an entry into diary to some extent.
