I was actually in Antarctica on my birthday. It must have been in our in-doc brief somewhere. I can't remember telling them, but the base commander there knew it was my birthday and had a bottle of Crown Royal flown to Antarctica for me. That's probably one of my favorite memories. Countless by stories from the Twin Otter. One who works at 440 was an absolute wonder while I was there. The FEs were so much fun. We may have unloaded a bit of the Gs just to watch his pillow fort float into the ceiling and just come crashing down on them. And then we made him, you know, strap it all back down for their safe landing.
