The Role of Private Military Companies in the War in Ukraine
The legality of private military companies often tends to be shaky or somewhat ambiguous. Many Wagner operations have been documented as being outright illegal and violating international national material law. There have been cases when Wagner operatives committed crimes against humanity, committed actual war crimes.
