How to Survive as an Addict

I love my mom. I loved her. And I still love her. One of the beautiful things about this book is that I've actually been able to rediscover her in a way that I couldn't before it. So like it's been really powerful to rediscover Tilly in a way and see her journey with so much compassion. She also had a daughter that was actually very open about saying they were addicted, too. But she didn't want to be judged for being an addict or not treating her kids correctly. It just doesn't make sense. You know, after all, it's hard to hug. Like I wasn't, none was staying in and it still doesn't.
