Microsoft's Move to Unify Dot Net
In late 2020 and 2022 is that it now seeing Microsoft introducing what was then called a unified platform. Windows did not make it to the cross platform area so we developers who are very interested in seeing who can compile for Mac and Linux but unfortunately up until now it didn't happen. I've been bitten in the past by blazer dot net Maui by a bunch, first version of swift by Docker and all of these fancy schmancy technologies that's supposed to make life easier actually end up making life harder because you have to learn a whole bunch of stuff right. There's absolutely nothing wrong with using slightly more tried and tested and proven technologies right.
