Video has a very important place in learning to code, but that it's been drastically overused. I think the best learning platforms in 10 years will be the ones that just do like use the best medium for every individual thing they want to teach. And so two approaches that I've seen and I like them both is that you provide them a Git repo and they can use whatever editor they want.
