Partition, It's Difficult to Remember, but Dangerous to Remember
Every woman i know was at some point assaulted, or abused in some way or the andt it's just there, right? You know, like soprig said about partition, it's difficult to forget, but dangerous to remember. And i think that is a real ethical dilemma for those of us who work with people’s lives and work on the stories of their lives. What are the consequences of coming to terms with it, and what are the consequencesof suppressing those memories? Like, does it free you up to be able to share those memories, like so many people with you? Or perhaps, do you have to then relive that troma?"
