The History of the Exposition Flyer

Exhibition flyer was the train involved in this wreck in 1946. It was designed to connect Chicago with San Francisco. The railroads were in better condition after World War II than they will ever be. Back then, there was so much demand for passenger that you would run more than one section of a train.
