Catherine Foster was reflecting while driving in her car after the first day of a racial equity institute's anti-racism workshop last winter. I loaned Catherine a recorder and asked her to share some of her thoughts. She says she tries to look at getting ahead from a positive standpoint, but sees people that don't have advantage.
When it comes to U.S. government programs and support earmarked for the benefit of particular racial groups, history is clear. White folks have received most of the goodies.
