Research and ethnography helps you uncover the latent unarticulated need which was actually the thing that everybody wanted and needed but was not stated. A great example I like to give is with a company we worked with called a YUR who were building an interesting technology for virtual reality fitness. And they came to us saying hey well isn't there a way that we can use AI to just predict your heart rate and predict your vital signs? We said, hold on. What are what kind of meaning are they drawing from this dataWhat do they want out of it?"
