The Church Is Growing and the Persecution Is Intensiving
In chapter four of acts the church is growing and the persecution or opposition to it is intensifying. The Sadducees laid hands on them and put them in hold onto the next day for it was now even tight. They're not supposed to have a trial at night oh don't remind us about what we did with anis and cayaphas and the nighttime false trials of jesus. You can't put the work of God behind bars no unhalered hand can stop the work from progressing. No mobs may combine armies may assemble calum he made to fame but the truth of God will go forth nobly boldly and independent.
