Is the Bible a Book of Theology?
The Bible has a strong archaeological and historical textual tradition that backs up this historicity. But we also have to remember that despite its congruency with historical narrative, it's a book of theology first. It's not going to break off into treatises about detailed movements of the planets or genetic science. That doesn't mean there isn't room for all of that in a biblical worldview.
