How Slow or How Still We Can Stand in the Universe

Dr Karl asks how slow or how still we can stand in the universe. The earth, for example, is spinning around the sun. If I slowed down relative to the sun, stood still, the earth would speed off and fly away. But then the sun is moving around the center of the Milky Way. Dr Karl: "Sometimes we're being drawn to something that we can't even reach"
