How Do You Decide That a Guideline Is Worth Doing?

I know there's a spectrum of guide lines. Can you give some types of people or the groups who decide that a guide line is worth doing, then actually do the work behind putting it together? So like you said, rob in the question, there are different groups or different organizations. For example, big organizations like w co and the pen american health organization are examples of this. Then you have other groups that are a bit more specific. You can have like specific ministries of health that want to do this type of recommendations that are specific to their own country. And so they care about the recommendations being applicable to as many people as possible,. especially people from low and middle income countries.
