How to Make the Most of a Small Number of Students in Colleges?

I wouldn't expect mooks to be a good substitute for small classes led by a talented professor with a lot of discussion and interaction. But frankly, even a mediogrut i don't think that represents the majority of college classes to day. I've taught at a large state school, university tennessee, the th sonnybrok university, city university, new york. And they of them, all the advanced classes have small a number of students.
