How Do You Evaluate Purity Motivation in 2021?
When the market accelerated as you're describing, we had to figure out how to augment our process. We might kind of put some of the due diligence that help us tease out purity motivation on the back end and meet the founder where they were looking to be met. But if we thought that we could make an investment at the valuation that was kind of put forth or that we were putting forth, then we would kind of continue to do references on the founders. And so we would try to spend time with them understanding how to what they care about.
