The Importance of Connection in a Story

At the heart of spirituality, me is connecting with what matters to us. And so I wanted connection and for whatever reason, alcohol and marijuana and LSD brought the world alive for me in a way that it wasn't if I was sober. By the time I got to heroin, that might have been more trying to escape the nightmare I had turned my life into. It's interesting Carl Jung made the analogy to Bill Wilson who founded AA. They knew each other. The word spirit is for alcohol spirits. Comes from that.
