i grew up in minnesota, so where i would be giving speeches in canada, the first question they always asked me was, how long have you been an ex pack? I'm like, no, i from the states. That was the other thing i learned, not america, because at that time, canadians were really sensitive to america calling itself America. So i got trained to say states.
