What Is a Rochkaton? And What Are the Rochgadol?

Everyone in Israel takes the same test at 17 years old, one year before going into the military. Test aims to figure out which students are roch katon and which are rochgadol. These are hebrew terms translated to mean little head and big head. Those who are rochkaton will do only what's asked of them, and sometimes even less than that. They are obedient and good at following direct orders. But israel is very interested in students who exhibit roch gadal or big head. People who have this often do more than what's asked  and challenge the status quo.
