Introduction to Computer Programming
When he was a student at University of Toronto, John Defterios took an introduction to computer programming course. He says the way his teacher showed how to solve problems "just really clicked with me" After graduating from U of T, defterios got a job as a research assistant in AI lab and started working on knowledge modeling tool called Java. The program is open source so you don't have to know much about it but can look up what's been done or not by other people.
