Judges 19–21: On Saving the Worst for Last While There’s Still No King in the Land (Bible Talk, Ep. 81)
Bible Talk — A podcast by 9Marks & Southern Seminary
The Folly of the Judges
Judges 20 ends with almost all of the Benjaminites dead. Only 600 left. They've fled to the caves their life. So it seems that they really are trying to put the tribe of Benjamin under the ban, and yet they're not willing to finish it. The people came to Bethel and sat there till evening before God, and they lifted up their voices and wept bitterly. It shows the book of judges begins and ends with what? Weeping.
