The Christian Life Is a Life of Penance

weekly confession is just such a helpful practice and not simply like you said to just be ready for the Eucharist. I think it also reminds me of Martin Luther and his 95 Theses one thing that he he said quite well is that the entirety of the Christian life is is one of penance which is sometimes overlooked.
