The Power of Majorities
"No minority is ever protected from a majority," he says. "Why do we look at voting in this sacrosanct way? Why all of a sudden are majorities so wonderful that we have to appeal to them?" In the market you vote every time you buy something, and if you don't like hamburgers tomorrow you can buy a different one. With the voting thing we ended up with pizza we don't like pizza it's okay you can vote again in four years and get a different lunch. We need stability and we also need a regime that will respect our rights and make us happy.
