When Elizabeth was just five years old, her papa died. The family had to leave their home because this apartment was tied to the job. Much was made of mamma having to take in a female boarder as they tried to make ends meet. But read between the lines, and this seems like pride and prejudice,. You know what i mean? This is pride and prejudice. Poverty. Oh no. I am now reduced to a five bedroom house in a lovely garden with only two servants. It's a good way to put it, pinky up poverty. So we can still play the violin, but it's smaller than we might have used otherwise.
