Ephesians 4:20 says, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires. And that can be used as a lens or a mirror that we hold up our current manner of life to and go. Lik when i accepted christ in the middle i gottis bree, pre christ and post christ life. Do they look the same? Cause, man, if they do, probably a problem. There's a hint there that we may not be walking in the ways that are going to be pleasing the lord,. Then the peace that he wants to promise us may or may not be coming our way.
We live in a world defined by conflict. Whether it’s war among nations, arguments over politics, or even strife within the body of Christ, tensions run high and patience runs low. Between the external battles people fight with one another and the internal turmoil that steals our serenity, peace feels like a rare and precious commodity. Yet, as we learn from Proverbs 16, God has given us a recipe for genuine peace. Living our lives in a way that pleases Him is the only guaranteed path to peace in our lives and in our world.
