Obscuring State Responsibility and Blaming Protesters

It highlights how liberal narratives have obscured the role of the state in exacerbating the pandemic and how these narratives reinforce capitalist ideology. The chapter also provides examples of how the state has retaliated against protesters, such as closing testing sites and using chemical weapons, while downplaying the risks of the protests spreading COVID-19.
