The Importance of Refusion

I wanted the record to kind of like speak to the truth of its form in some way, you know, to speak to the what's opened up by kind of a low bit rate. So I was also in sort of the idea of making sort of a set of like musical forms that could sort of maybe somehow speak to a different way of listening. And it doesn't have to be linear and moves through something that even though it's fixed in its form, it doesn't feel complete every time you listen to it or whatever. It really was about trying to go back to what we were talking about in the visual world, instead of trying to make something that replicated what we already can do
