Nuclear Power Plants

We don't see nuclear power plants getting built because we live in societies that have believed for 20 years that they don't need them. What we are seeing in the west, rather, and you noted this, has been the deferl of plant shut downs. This is a technology that, while not in its infancy, hasn't reached commercial proportions yet. We've seen in europe the consequences of an energy policy revolving around solar where the sun doesn't shine. Even the germans now talking about deferring their three remaining closures.
