The Disappearance of Advertising in the Netflix Industry
Netflix's whole promise was you know 15 dollars a month you get every show ever made and there'll never be any ads first of all that entire promise clearly unsustainable. Now I think in five years we're going to look back at the Netflix HBO Max sort of era of the streaming model as being an unstable business model which eventually had to reach a new equilibrium with more advertising and more shows being sold to each other. Nobody knows how much anything is actually worth because nobody's selling anything to anyone anymore Netflix just makes it and puts it put it up.
