The Importance of Strength Training in Running

There's a lot of stuff that makes us strong than just adding on muscle bulk. How our nerves are recruiting muscle fibers and so forth is also a large part of how we gain strength. If you're participating in regular endurance training at the same time as weight training, there seems to be this interference effect. It doesn't entirely prevent us from gaining muscle mass, but it seems to kind of ward off alarge part of that.
