Headlines: Chaos in New Orleans as a truck strikes New Year’s revellers leaving 10 dead, three Virgin Australia staff stuck in their hotel after an incident at Nadi airport, and the LNP claims 10,000 businesses will collapse before the next parliamentary sitting.
