The Different Types of Hospitalists

Hospitalists tend to be focused on practice within a hospital or a number of hospitals in an infant system. But there are lots of places around the country and even local to me where we have places anywhere from that person in the emergency room. So I think while they do tend to be in that middle ground of sick but stable, there is a huge bell curve in terms of when they first are interacting with the patient.
