Is There a Challenge in the Employee Handbook?

New employee handbooks are being distributed to many employees. The criticism of these handbooks has been that they give you some important information, but they don't give all the information, necessarily, that the employee would want. You may not know this, however, lawyers are not big fans of h r handbooks. They don't like anything that's written down. So they'd prefer that you have that smaller handbook rather than a larger handbook that just gets the company into trouble.
