This is a follow up to our episode on the westborough baptist church, a story we call twitter saves magen. Magan phelps roper was an enthusiastic, true blue believer in the brutal god worshipped by the westborough Baptist church. She too was dedicated to the cause of shocking people into submission the truth, always a knife, never soft, never kind. We would have never tried to understand these cartoonish super villains, already fading from collective memory, if not for the fact that we saw something relateable in her story,. A story of secrets, of re-starting everything and falling in love for the first time.
