Hotel Comedy

Hotels are an incredibly attractive stage to set a drama on. You get to watch characters perform in all sorts of interesting and awkward situations. A wonderful example of how it works very well for horror is the shining, which was made in 19 80 with one brothers. When you remove the people, obviously the hotel takes on an incredibly odd tone. But where hotels come into their own, i think, is in creating incredibly fertile ground for comedy.
