The final grammar mistake that a lot of teachers won't address is collective nouns and group nouns. If you're only looking at the noun right before the verb, you're going to think, oh, actors are. Right? You have to really be thinking about what is actually being said, what is being written. Remember, we said these group nouns must be treated as a singular noun grammatically.
