Total Factor Productivity in the UK Has Fallen.
Growth rate masks something deeply problematic in the engine. Average annual productivity in London was 3.1%. That has fallen since 2007, 2008. And now to 0.02%. So when that happens, it means you're stuffing more people into an engine that is producing less. When that starts producing less, it produces less tax revenue.
