The History of Smell

As a smell historian, Karl Verbeek sticks his nose into things you cannot even imagine. He has smelled mummies and perfumed wigs from the 18th century. The smell of horses always takes him back to his childhood because he used to do horseback riding. Smell is apparently the strongest inducer of memories, of early memories.
