The Politics of the January 6 Committee

I don't think we really know much about what was happening inside the White House with Trump talking to campaign officials. We've not really heard Rudy Giuliani's story. A prosecutor can subpoena John Eastman and put him under oath. The Manhattan DA has so bungled this from my point of view that when Donald Trump, I just looking at the news now, he's called the thing a total political witch hunt. And the impulse to rally to Donald Trump, if only to protest the injustice, the damage to the American system on the Republican among Republicans is going to be overwhelming.
