The Beatles Are a Good Example of That
The Beatles' later music still strikes me as sufficiently surprising. It hasn't all been incorporated into the rock lexicon. So truly great music has a depth and it has a semantic overload in a sense that no matter how many times you listen to it, you can't actually exhaust it. I mean, it's an amazing thing for me to think that a cantana that Bach would have had to write in less than a week could contain more than the composer knowingly put into it.
