Conversation and Escape Plans

The characters engage in a conversation about the importance of respect and discuss their plans to escape the cage or sneak through the palace. They try to convince someone to help them and perform an act from a picture book, which turns out to be a choose-your-own-adventure story. The chapter ends with a discussion about the consequences of leaving the cage and the question of how Ving can do what they did.
