The Difficulty of Learning a Foreign Language
Arabic is the most difficult language he has ever learned, followed by German and Turkish. He says that once we reach an upper intermediate level all languages become equally challenging. The difficulty lies elsewhere in the immersion environment of a new country or culture. In some languages there's just an abundance of good audio text learning content. This makes it easier to find interesting teaching material online.
