The False Dichotomy of Market and State
The false dichotomy of market and state may actually fit in an interesting geometry, says Julian Zelizer. We've been led to believe that the solution is in the alternative, i.e., if you really believe in markets, they're the right answer and hierarchies of the trouble,. But I'm saying there's actually a third attractor that is the actual proper response. And we're looking for something which is, and I won't say actually the middle, but something that's not like a third axis.
