George's Theory of the Vulcanic Explosion

People who had lived close to the lake were killed. The bodies of cattle and goats were littered around the lake. Even the sounds of even the birds and insects were gone. Scientists started looking for signs that it could have been a volcanic explosion. But there was no evidence that there was a large body of magma close to the surface, heating up the lake.
