Tinocentivitis is one of the few really orthopedic emergencies in the hand. It's usually an open injury or? Yeah, sometimes just a little. If you're using sports equipment, you can get a little graphite, tiny stiff graphite puncture. A perfect example of how confounding it can be is Parsonage Turner syndrome. The other term for it is a brachial neuritis as in brachial plexus neuritis.
