Why I Decided to Write This Book
When I was leaving and I looked around at what resources were available, it was the heyday of quit lit. It always bothered me because I didn't really know what to do with quit lit. Over lunch with some friends, actually at an academic conference in 2018, January 2018, those friends convinced me to maybe start thinking about that and outline it as a book. In early 2019, I shopped it around with some publishers and here we are.
