The Problem With Large Language Models

We're not saying that large language models understand language like humans do. But what they do do is that when you look at the output, so even though sometimes they will say things that are nonsensical it's unfortunate that these models can also be racist or sexist or bigoted in other kinds of way. And so what these models are able to do given loads and loads of input is to produce grammatical language from just being exposed to loads andloads of language.
